Naomi Judd's family filed a court petition Friday to seal police reports and recordings made during the investigation into the country star's death.  The records contained video and audio interviews with Judd's family members following her passing. Releasing these details would result in "significant trauma and irreparable harm," her family said.

Naomi Judd's family is asking a judge to seal police reports and recordings made during the course of its investigation into the legendary country singer's death.The family's legal team filed the petition -- provided to the Associated Press -- Friday in Williamson County Court and said that, should the police reports and recordings be made available to the public, it would bring «significant trauma and irreparable harm» to the family. Some of the other reasons as to why the family doesn't want the records released includes that disclosing the report would reveal medical records and conversations family members had with police during the probe.In a statement submitted with the petition, Naomi's widow, Larry Strickland, said he didn't know that his interviews with police were being recorded, and that he shared personal and private information to assist police.Ashley Judd also provided a statement, in which she said she was in «clinical shock, active trauma and acute distress» during her conversations with police. She added that she does not want video, audio and photos to permanently stay in the public domain, and that it would haunt their family for generations, the AP reported.Also in the petition — filed on behalf of Strickland, Ashley and Wynonna Judd -- are details that Ashley found her mother alive after she shot herself, per the AP. The filing shows Ashley stayed by her mother's side for a half hour before help arrived. According to the petition, a number of media outlets in Tennessee have already filed public records requests relating to Naomi's death investigation.

Naomi Judd’s family was granted a temporary court order on Tuesday to keep her death records sealed from the public record.  In court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Larry Strickland and Judd’s two daughters, Wynonna and Ashley, filed for injunctive relief in Williamson County, Tennessee.  According to the order, "Sheriff's deputies, per standard procedure" had conducted "an investigation into Mrs. Judd's death," which resulted in evidence being collected.  The order goes on to note that "records were created which include photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and written reports." Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has shared a new solo single, ‘Long, Long Year’ – listen to it below.Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, the track features bassist Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs) and drummer Julian Doro (Eagles of Death Metal, The Whigs) among other musicians.It was produced by the Grammy-winning Vance Powell, who’s previously worked with the likes of Jack White and his side project band The Dead Weather.Speaking about how the emotional, country-tinged song came about, Shiflett explained: “I spent a lot of time alone at my studio in LA during the first part of the lockdown just woodshedding tunes.“The line ‘It’s been a long, long year‘ was rattling around my head for obvious reasons, but I framed it as a love song.”The musician said that he then recorded his first solo material since his 2019 album, ‘Hard Lessons’,  during a trip to Nashville in March 2021.“I hadn’t done much traveling post-COVID lockdown so I was a little nervous heading out there to work with a producer and roomful of musicians I didn’t really know,” Shiflett went on.“In true Nashville style we made our introductions and got right down to work, hammering out the basic tracks in a few hours.”He continued: “Vance was great and made me feel right at home, and the group of players he put together were on point.  Next day we did some overdubs and Sierra [Hull] came in and added mandolin and harmony vocals on ‘Long, Long Year’ and the tracks started coming together.”Details of a potential new solo record have not yet been confirmed.‘Long, Long Year’ marks the first music from a member of Foo Fighters since the death of the band’s drummer, Taylor Hawkins, in March.

Stevie Nicks is hitting the road once again for her fall 2022 tour.The "Edge of Seventeen" singer has a busy couple of months ahead after she announced on Monday via Instagram that she was going on a fall tour with special guest Vanessa Carlton.  "Here we go! I’m so excited to be back on the road and can’t wait to see everyone," Nicks wrote on her Instagram post.  The tour kicks off on September 13 in Clarkston, Michigan and wraps up on October 28 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Some of Nick’s other stops include Los Angeles, California, Phoenix, Arizona and Nashville, Tennessee.
