Gal Gadot & 'Wonder Woman' Cast Reunite on Zoom for Pedro Pascal's Birthday!

Wonder Woman 1984 was set to release in June 2020. However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Gal Gadot starrer has been postponed to August. While the wait has been extended, it hasn't stopped Patty Jenkins from teasing the movie. The director recently spoke to Empire magazine and discussed Kristen Wiig villain Cheetah in the movie. The director explains Barbara turns into Cheetah due to Diana. The filmmaker explains Cheetah turns dark due to her insecurity of not being as good as Diana. 

"The first movie was a coming of age, it was Diana becoming Wonder Woman. She was very naive and she didn't understand the complexities of life. A fish out of water. In this movie, that's not the case whatsoever. Diana has evolved. She's much more mature and very wise," Gadot told Empire magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

It's official, the Oneders are getting the band back together for a good cause. That Thing You Do! stars Tom Everett Scott, Johnathan Schaech, and Ethan Embry all announced on their social media pages Monday that they will be reuniting online for a live watch party in support of MusiCares COVID-19 relief fund on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on their new YouTube Channel.

Gal Gadot, for the rest of her life, will be known for donning the heavy boots of beloved DC superhero Wonder Woman and changing the perception of female-led movies performing poorly at the box-office! Gal Gadot held a video chat party with her “Wonder Woman: 1984” co-stars amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic to celebrate fellow actor Pedro Pascal’s birthday. The 34-year-old actress shared an image on Twitter in which she is clearly having a celebratory video chat with her fellow cast members from the sequel to the 2017 hit film “Wonder Woman” including Pascal, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and director Patty Jenkins.

It's been quite a ride for Star Wars fans as the Skywalker Saga reached its end in December 2019, with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. While fans weren't exactly elated by how things ended, they still have The Mandalorian to look forward to. Created by Jon Favreau, Star Wars' first live-action series, premiered on Disney+ in November 2019 and became a huge hit. Pedro Pascal, who stars as Mando got a ton of praise for his performance.

Coronavirus hasn't spared Wonder Woman either. The DC superhero franchise was all set to drop the second movie, Wonder Woman 84, in June. However, in lieu of the Covid-19 outbreak around the world, Warner Bros has decided to push back the Gal Gadot starrer to August 2020. This is the second time the movie is being pushed. The Patty Jenkins directorial was supposed to release on December 13, 2019. But it was moved to November 1, 2019. Until recently, WW84 was set to drop on June 5, 2020.

For the most part, the celebrity reactions to the coronavirus crisis have been better than expected. Kylie Jenner has urged her millions of fans to stay home, while Miley Cyrus has launched an Instagram Live series to remain positive. However, as these worst celeb coronavirus reactions show, not every star’s opinion has been well thought-out.

Surely, it was meant to be a kind gesture.
