Kids these days will be returning to schools that have fully embraced the digital era, but back in the '90s things seemed a lot...simpler. Even by the mid-1990s, if you were lucky enough to have a shared home computer and the internet, you would be using a desperately slow dial up service through a phone line.
Many things kids take for granted these days - like having smart phones and access to Wikipedia and Google - in the '90s would have seemed unthinkable. But even without today's technology, the 1990s remain one of the most fondly remembered decades for many people.

Kids in the 1990s had their own style icons to emulate and fashions to adopt, which just happened to include bubble backpacks, floppy curtain fringes and Rockports.
