After having to wait a whole year to get our annual dose of Eurovision madness, the song contest was back with a ‘bing bang bong’. Even in COVID times, the Netherlands managed to help put on one hell of a show and give us a sense of normality.
The standard this year for the final was extremely high and prior to the votes starting to come in, it was hard to say who was going to win, (and hard to spot a former Irish Eurovision entry when delivering our jury votes).

New 2FM Breakfast Show host Donncha O’Callaghan — the former Ireland and Munster rugby legend — won’t have to endure a long commute to his new job. The Irish Mail on Sunday revealed the popular sportsman-turned-presenter will be broadcasting from RTÉ’s Cork studio while his co-presenters Doireann Garrihy and Carl Mullan will operate from Montrose.
