Friends star Lisa Kudrow backs reboot of the show - but there’s a catch

Lisa Kudrow - recognised worldwide for her iconic portrayal of Phobe Buffay in the widely-adored US sitcom Friends - has revealed that she "would love to see" a reboot of the hit series - with a twist. Lisa was quick to insist that she'd like to see the show, which ran from 1994 to 2004, come back with a brand new cast and without her and her fellow cast mates, including Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox.
In a brand new interview with Where is the Buzz, the 58 year old was asked about the much-discussed prospect of a reunion and how it would look on screen. Lisa, who took part in the show's reunion interview episode alongside her five co-stars, replied: "I don’t think there’s going to be a Friends reboot.

But a reboot, you mean like they hire other actors? I would." The actress went on: "I would love to see what the now version of that would be." Lisa, who is also known for writing and starring in HBO hit The Comeback, added that she'd "love" to see how that would work, commenting: "That would be really good." Of course, this isn't the first time that a Friends reunion has been discussed. Over the years, fans have called for all of the cast, which also includes Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, to step back into the shoes of their famous alter-egos.
