Matthew Perry, the beloved star from Friends, shared a chilling final Instagram post just days before his tragic death at age 54, when he reportedly drowned in his jacuzzi. Earlier in the week, he had a posted a photo to Instagram which saw him relaxing in the spa, alongside the caption: "Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman." The post has since received over 650,000 likes and countless tributes from fans devasted by the loss.
One fan wrote: "Rest easy. We love you forever." Another said: "Can't believe you're gone", adding crying emojis.
A third fan commented: "Thank you for your memory Matthew," while another penned: "Gone too soon , travel safe." Emergency services were called to Perry's home following a report of a suspected cardiac arrest.
They found the star unconscious in his hot tub. According to NBC, law enforcement sources stated that Perry had drowned, and it was treated as a 'water rescue'.
No drugs were found at the scene and there is no suggestion of foul play.
