Friday singer Rebecca Black has come out as “queer” after ending a longtime relationship with her ex-girlfriend.
The 22-year-old appeared on the Dating Straight podcast on Tuesday and revealed she refrained from officially coming out in the past, because she wasn’t sure how she wanted to identify herself.

Explaining her past reluctance to come out under a certain label, Rebecca explained, “I made a conscious decision to not, like, ‘come out.’ People started asking and I stopped not responding. I’m still in the process, it feels like.”
