Adam Schlesinger, the singer-songwriter behind Fountains of Wayne and various film and TV soundtracks, has been in the hospital for more than a week with COVID-19, Variety and Rolling Stone report. The 52-year-old’s girlfriend confirmed the news via Schlesinger’s agent in a statement to Pitchfork.
“He is on a ventilator and has been sedated to facilitate his recovery. He is in critical condition but his condition is improving slightly and we are cautiously optimistic,” Schlesinger’s girlfriend
