Selome Hailu NBC has renewed both of its freshman dramas, “Found” and “The Irrational,” for second seasons. “Found,” which premiered on Oct. 3, follows Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton), a public relations specialist and former kidnapping victim whose crisis management team searches for people who have gone missing.
But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a chilling secret of her own. The cast also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi. Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Lindsay Dunn executive produce “Found,” which hails from Berlanti Productions and Rock My Soul Productions produces in association with Warner Bros.
Television and Universal Television. Based on Dan Ariely’s book of the same name, “The Irrational” follows world-renowned behavioral science professor Alec Mercer (Jesse L. Martin) as he lends his unique expertise on an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, law enforcement and corporations.
His insight and unconventional approach to understanding human behavior lead him and the team on a series of intense, unexpected journeys to solve illogical puzzles and perplexing mysteries. Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz and Arash DeMaxi also star in the series, which is executive produced by Arika Lisanne Mittman, Mark Goffman, Sam Baum and David Frankel. Universal Television is the studio.

Apple TV+ has picked up a second season of Platonic, its hit half-hour comedy starring and executive produced by Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen.

So You Think You Can Dance has been officially renewed for Season 18 on Fox and it’s returning with a new set of judges.

The first two seasons aired on Amazon‘s Freevee, but Season 3 will debut on sister streamer Prime Video in 2024 instead. The move is significant, as “Leverage: Redemption,” a revival of the TNT series “Leverage,” was one of the major scripted titles available on Freevee.
Selome Hailu Max has renewed “Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake” for a second season. A spinoff of “Adventure Time,” which ran on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2018, the series follows Fionna (Madeleine Martin) and her sidekick, Cake (Roz Ryan), who find themselves in the crosshairs of a powerful new foe, leaving them with no choice but to seek the help of Simon Petrikov, the former Ice King (Tom Kenny).

Shudder has renewed hit reality competition series The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula for a sixth season. The renewal comes ahead of the remaining four episodes of season five currently streaming on Shudder and AMC+, with the finale set for Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
