Former Misfits drummer Joey Image has died, according to multiple reports.
The 63-year-old’s death was first reported by The New York Hardcore Chronicles.
The drummer was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016, and has been seeking treatment at the University of Miami, where he was a possible candidate for a liver transplant.
Image, real name Joseph Poole, was a member of the Misfits in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He also performed with the band in 2000.
