Former Love Island star Dr Alex George decactivates his Twitter account to 'protect his mental wellbeing'

Caroline Flack's mum Christine has admitted she hasn't watched Love Island since the death of her daughter, because it's "horrible" seeing Laura Whitmore in same pose. Caroline took her own life on February 15, within 24 hours of finding out the Crown Prosecution Service intended to pursue the case following her charge for assault after a drunken row with then boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Caroline Flack's mother Christine has hit out at ITV over the decision for her late daughter to step down from the ITV2 show Love Island in late 2019 and be replaced by presenter Laura Whitmore. Opening up over a year on from her tragic suicide, Christine claimed the channel could have handled things "differently".
