Former Republic of Ireland international Alan McLoughlin has confirmed he is continuing to battle cancer following the discovery of a missed tumour in January.
The 53-year-old sporting legend was first diagnosed with a kidney tumour back in 2012 and had an operation to remove it.
In November 2019 Alan was given the news he least wanted to hear – his cancer had spread to his remaining kidney, chest wall and lung.
Although scans showed an improvement back in January with the tumours shrinking
