Two people have been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Glasgow city centre.

A forensic search on a street in Glasgow is linked to an alleged attempted murder outside a shop in Pollok two weeks ago.
Officers were called to Mansionhouse Road in the Shawlands area of the city on Sunday, August 27. Images from the scene show a large cordon in place with multiple cop vehicles and forensic officers in attendance.
Police have today confirmed the inquiries were connected to an alleged 'shooting' and 'knife attack' which took place at a shop four miles away on Ladymuir Crescent. A 35-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after being found seriously injured by police on Sunday, August 13.
Three men – aged 34, 34 and 40 – have since been arrested and charged in connection with alleged attempted murder. Police say inquiries into the alleged attack remain ongoing.
Detective Inspector Phillip Kennedy said: “Three men – aged 34, 34 and 40 – have been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Glasgow. The incident happened on Sunday, 13 August, 2023, in the Ladymuir Crescent area of Pollok.
“All three are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 28 August, 2023, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. Further enquiries into the attack remain ongoing and officers carried out a related search in the Mansionhouse Road and Langside Avenue area, on Sunday, 27 August, 2023.
“At this time, I’d like to thank the public for their ongoing assistance.”
