Tom Brady is back in the sports game – but in a different way than might some have expected.
The 45-year-old retired football quarterback surprised his social media followers with an Instagram video announcing his involvement with a WNBA team, the Las Vegas Aces!

Speaking in a video, Tom shared that he had “really special news to share today. I’m excited to announce I’m going to become part of the Las Vegas Aces organization. It was a matter of time before I was back in the building with some of the greatest athletes in the world.”
“I grew up with three older sisters,” he went on. “They were all incredible athletes in their own right. They were role models to me. It’s where my love of women’s sports began.”
He continued: “I tagged along. I was the annoying little brother to all their games. And they were the best athletes in our house, and they’re still a great inspiration to me.”
Tom was first spotted with the team in May 2022, sitting courtside at one of their games.
According to the team’s press release, he immediately “knew he wanted to be a part of the organization.”
Tom will also start a sports broadcasting career next year.
