Paul Heaton has announced the 60 pubs that he has chosen across the UK and Ireland for his 60th birthday celebrations.The former Housemartins and Beautiful South vocalist took to Twitter this weekend (May 7) to announce plans to get a round in at several pubs across the UK and Ireland.“To celebrate my 60th birthday (on Monday, May 9) I’d originally intended to do another bicycle tour, visiting and performing at 60 pubs across the UK and Ireland. However, due to recording delays caused by the pandemic, I’ve had to shelve those plans for the time being,” he started.“Instead, I’ve decided that the next best way to celebrate this coming of age is to handpick 60 pubs across the UK and Ireland and put a given amount of money behind the bar of each one.

Angelique Jackson Netflix has acquired global rights to the YA romance “The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight,” starring Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy.The film adaptation of Jennifer E. Fontaines DC have cancelled tonight’s (April 25) show in Boston, Massachusetts, after vocalist Grian Chatten was diagnosed with laryngitis.The Irish band is currently on a run of sold-out or upgraded US shows, and were meant to play at the Paradise Rock Club, before headlining two dates at New York City’s Brooklyn Steel on April 26 and 27. As of now, those shows are still set to happen.“Unfortunately Grian has been diagnosed with laryngitis and has been advised to rest his voice for a few days,” the band shared on Twitter.They continued: “Therefore sadly the show at Paradise Rock Club in Boston tonight won’t be going ahead.

Fontaines DC have said they think they could do “a really good tune” with Lana Del Rey.Speaking to NME for this week’s Big Read, the band’s vocalist Grian Chatten said he wanted to write songs with Rey when discussing some possible future collaborations.“I just want to write some tunes with her,” Chatten told NME. “Her music leans into an era of cinema that I love, and she writes in a way where people can find stories in her music.
