Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre has reopened to the public following a significant multi-million pound refurbishment.
The newly-built centre, on Crescent Road in Crumpsall, now features a six-lane swimming pool, a learner pool, steam room and sauna. There are also two squash courts, health and fitness suites featuring gyms, studios and a sports hall.
The leisure centre will also be home to a new, state of the art indoor cricket facilities which will make it the first Indoor Urban Cricket Centre in the city.

The new open plan library space, which will feature free high quality Wi-Fi, will be open seven days a week to all residents who register for free.
The previous Abraham Moss leisure centre and library, which was built in 1973, was demolished in 2021 to make way for the new complex.
Councillor John Hacking, Executive Member for Skills, Employment and Leisure said: "The reopening of Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre marks the completion of a landmark project. Residents in the Crumpsall area and beyond will now be able to benefit from a new, improved and modernised library and, state of the art leisure facilities in the heart of their communities.
“The reopening of the fantastic facilities at Abraham Moss shows that we are committed to improving community facilities for local communities and encouraging residents to lead healthier lifestyles."
Abraham Moss is one of the many leisure centres and libraries across the city that are benefiting from council investment to ensure the hubs are better equipped to service the needs of the community.
