And as the excitement builds, Batgirl herself was spotted on set in Springburn this afternoon - wearing a Gotham City Police Department t-shirt.
Pictures snapped on streets being used show artwork being created for filming on Parnie Street with various pieces of custom-made graffiti and an impressive mural of Batman.
Crews were also seen creating a Chinese restaurant, Polish shop, and diner for filming purposes.
The film, which also stars J.K. Simmons and Brendan Fraser, is the latest in the DC Extended Universe series of films including the likes of Justice League, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Suicide Squad.
