Film Constellation Boards Cannes Market Bound Psychological Thriller ‘John and the Hole’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Leo Barraclough International Features EditorMenemsha Films has acquired all rights for North America and Canada to revenge drama “Plan A” from Munich-based world sales agency Global Screen, which is e-attending the Pre-Cannes Screenings and will host a screening for the film on Wednesday.Other deals were concluded with Signature Entertainment for U.K., Ireland, New Zealand and Australia, while Twelve Oaks Pictures picked up the film in Spain.

Ann-Marie Corvin Barcelona-based producer distributor Filmax has snagged the Spanish and international rights to Carlota González-Adrio’s debut thriller “The House Among the Cactuses.”Currently in post-production, the film is based on Paul Pen’s U.S.

Emilio Mayorga Stuttgart-based sales company Sola Media has taken international rights to animated feature “Gus, the Guide Dog,” currently in pre-production and to be directed by Portugal’s Bruno Simões, an animation director and previs artist who has worked on films such as “Skyfall,” “Epic” and “Rio 2.”Family-oriented “Gus” is produced by Roger Torras at Barcelona’s WKND,  Humberto Santana at Animanostra (Portugal), and Xosé Zapata at Sygnatia (Spain).
