Ferne McCann has hit back at trolls and said their reaction was "crazy" after she was highly criticised for the way she chose to decorate and furnish her baby’s nursery.
The former TOWIE star shared a sweet video to her Instagram where she gave fans a tour of her new daughter’s bedroom. In the video, Ferne is seen holding her one month old before placing her gently into a cot, which was filled with cushions and throws. She then panned the camera around the room to show off other adorable features in the bedroom, including cloud printed wallpaper, pictures and a toy in the middle of the room.
Fans rushed to the comments and slammed the new mum-of-two for how she had her new cot set up, as one fan wrote: “Take the pillows out the cot!!”, while another said: “Please take pillows out cot". A third added: “Looks gorgeous but please take.pillows out when your special little.person is in the cot x”. Other fans heavily criticised the way the room was decorated, labelling the room “boring”, “sad”, and “unfinished”.
One follower commented: “Beautiful room but I don't like the boring bland colours. Babies need colour”, while another said: “The room is awful and all for show looks really old skool and tacky!!”. Another added: “Why is the baby in its own room already? And what an awful room”.
After being flooded with criticism, Ferne decided to address the comments on her Instagram story and said she “cannot believe how much of a stink Finty’s nursery has caused on social media”. Ferne continued: “Don't get me wrong I am here for other peoples opinions and I know that I am not going to please everyone and it is fine for us not to love everything.
That's fine, I get it, for goodness sake I have got a reality show. I get the odd troll.
