Fans of singer and songwriter Coco Lee, who was known for her powerful voice and live performances, were gathering with flowers to pay their respects to their idol at her funeral in Hong Kong on Monday.The evening services were expected to be attended by her family, friends and supporters. Lee died July 5 at age 48.She was born in Hong Kong and attended school in San Francisco before releasing her first album in 1994 at age 19.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Asacha Media Group has acquired a majority stake in leading U.K. factual producer Arrow International Media. The company’s recent hits include “See No Evil” and “American Monster” for Investigation Discovery, “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” for National Geographic and Disney+ and “Seven Days on Mars” for the BBC.

“The Boy and the Heron,” the first film in a decade by Japanese anime master Hayao Miyazaki, will open the 48th Toronto International Film Festival, organizers announced Thursday.

the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it was planning to raise touring visa fees for international artists by more than 250 per cent.The DHS has said in its proposal that applications for a P visa, which is for performers arriving in the States to perform temporarily, would increase from the current rate of $460 (£358.53) to $1,615 (£1,259).The longer-term O work visa, meanwhile, would jump from $460 (£358.53) to $1,655 (1,290).Numerous musicians subsequently spoke out against the plan, saying that it would be “a huge hardship to pay such high visa fees” in order to play in the US. Additionally, various politicians and organisations have opposed the move.Now, the Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has agreed to delay the implementation of a visa rate increase until at least March 2024.

The upcoming season of All-American: Homecoming is shaking up the official cast list!

EXCLUSIVE: The bulk of All: American: Homecoming Season 2 cast will be back as series regulars in the upcoming third season. Returning as full-fledged series regulars will be series star Geffri Maya as well as Sylvester Powell, Netta Walker and Mitchell Edwards. Also back as series regulars but on reduced episodic guarantees will be Cory Hardrict and Rhoyle Ivy King, which means that they will likely be in fewer episodes.
