Cooking potatoes with duck fat, Marmite, and Oxo cubes have all been touted as the way to the perfect roastie to accompany Sunday lunch. But a keen home cook has come up an alternative recipe to ensure crispy spuds - using honey and mustard, reports the Daily Star.
Justin Taylor shared how he makes his roast potatoes so tasty on Facebook - and it's left people's mouths watering. The 40-year-old shared a snap of his delicious-looking potatoes next to a pile of thinly sliced gammon and captioned the post: "Honey and mustard roast potatoes. Then Nutella bricks for dessert".

After sharing the post to Facebook everyone agreed Justin's meal looked to die for. One person said: "They sound amazing – my mouths watering just reading that. Can’t wait to try them!"

King Edwards or Maris Piper for example, because if you try roasting a yellow fleshed waxy potato like Nadine, Melody, Picasso or Wilja and you're doomed to be disappointed. Not all spuds are the same and you have to choose the right potato for the job."
