Fans appear to share the same concern as Davina McCall confirms the fate of her new show My Mum Your Dad. The series launched last month and saw grown-up kids nominate their single parents to head into a luxury country retreat in the hope of finding love later in life.
Dubbed "heartwarming" and "hilarious" with "cross-generational appeal" by critics, the debut series was ITV's biggest new peak-time entertainment format, attracting an average audience of more than 2m on all devices. Fronted by Davina, the first series regularly trended as the number one streamed programme on ITVX.
The programme saw the grown-up kids in a surveillance room, dubbed the 'bunker', where they were entrusted with the fate of their single parents as they searched for love in the retreat.

It has now been confirmed, on Monday (October 16), that My Mum, Your Dad will return to screens in 2024, with casting now open to applicants.
While the kids will once again be watching along, ITV has confirmed that there will be some new twists along the way as they get a front-row seat to how their parents fare in their bid to make a romantic connection. And again, at the end, they'll ultimately decide if they give their blessing to any potential matches.
In a video posted to ITV's social media pages, Davina could be seen in a video as she said: "Guess what?! We got a second series of My Mum, Your Dad. Ahhhh! I'm so excited." She then went on to share that applications were now open for people to take part.
