For most, Boxing Day is a day of rest, who you can finally put your feet up and enjoy some time to relax after a busy Christmas Day. However, the Royals' festivities don't stop after the big day and 26 December sees the whole family come together for some fun activities.

Christmas is usually a time to relax, have fun, eat what you want, wear what you feel most comfortable in and enjoy yourselves. But for the Royal Family, protocols don't take a break during the festive period and they still have many style rules to follow.

While we might throw all our stuff in a suitcase hurriedly when going abroad, for the Royal Family it's a very different affair. Our very own Duchess of Cambridge is an absolute whizz when it comes to packing.

Unlike the rest of us, senior members of the Royal Family don’t have to worry about visiting their school’s career advisor or figuring out what their future may hold as their professional life is already laid out for them. And though the stress and uncertainty of forging a career path is taken away from them, that doesn’t mean that they haven’t thought about what they would do if their lives were a little more ordinary and a lot less royal.

The Cambridge family released their 2021 Christmas card earlier in December, and it featured the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their three children on holiday in Jordan. Kate, 39, and William, also 39, can be seen beaming in the relaxed snap as they sit together with their children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.

It's no secret that the Royal Family follow a strict set of protocols, and it looks like Christmas is no different. The royals' festive celebrations are filled with joyous traditions and events, including a Christmas Eve black tie dinner and a lavish breakfast buffet on Boxing Day.

Queen Elizabeth traditionally hosts a pre-Christmas lunch the week before the December 25 holiday to celebrate with the extended royal family.

The Queen has "regretfully" decided to cancel the Royal Family's annual pre-Christmas party and lunch as Omicron fears continue to grow. As cases continue to surge in the UK, Her Majesty reportedly feels that the “risk” is too high on the rest of the family’s plans over the Christmas period.

EXCLUSIVE: Producer Wendi Trilling has sold three broadcast comedy projects through her TrillTV banner, Full Bloom, written by Me, Myself & I duo of Dan Kopelman & Susanna Wolff, to ABC; as well as Black In Therapy, from Howard Jordan, Jr. (Call Me Kat), and Tiny Putin, written by Mat Harawitz (LA To Vegas), both to CBS. All three projects stem from the producer partnership former longtime CBS head of comedy Trilling and her TrillTV have with Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment.

The show debuted in May and was renewed for a second season in June.Under her deal, Hicks will create, write and produce new series and projects for Netflix.
