‘Falcon & Winter Soldier’ Clips: Sam & Bucky Talk Wizards, Doctor Strange & Gandalf

After Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans had a drought-filled 2020 with no movies in theatres, owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. While the Scarlett Johansson starrer Black Widow's release date is once again pushed to July 9, it's up to the MCU Disney+ shows to keep us satiated.

(Androids, aliens and wizards.)Still, the fact that Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) are more odd than couple means that all of the miracle questioning and soul gazing they do in couples therapy provides its fair share of humor, too.

In a series that introduced a new Captain America (no, not the one you’re hoping for), a potential sidekick for Falcon, new super-soldier villains, and more tragic backstory for Bucky, people really latched onto a fairly surprising aspect of the first two episodes of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”—just how broke these guys are. And according to the head writer of the series, fans weren’t the only ones that were taken aback by the news that Falcon couldn’t get a loan.

The second MCU show on Disney+, “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier,” has been reckoning with Old Man Steve’s decision to leave the shield behind and retire in “Avengers: Endgame,” but it is also building up a possible bright future from the Marvel Cinematic Universe by introducing the Young Avengers.
