Facebook has apologised after a ‘technical issue’ meant some people were unable to access the social media platform this morning.
Hundreds of people across the UK reported issues in accessing the app and the website on Thursday, according to the website Down Detector.
A bulk of the reports appeared to come at around 9am - with more than 200 people reporting problems at that time.
The social media giant say that the issue was resolved at around 1pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Facebook said:
