Patrick Frater Asia Bureau ChiefAustralian streaming platform Stan has signed a renewed and expanded content supply deal with Sony Pictures Television.The company described the deal as: “a major new multi-year strategic content partnership with Sony Pictures Television, securing Stan a brand-new exclusive slate of first-run premium scripted drama. The expanded partnership will see the extension of hit Stan exclusives and will also bring an extensive catalogue of iconic Sony Pictures Television series and global blockbuster films to Stan.”The deal follows previous agreements with Hollywood suppliers Lionsgate, MGM, NBCU and Paramount for first run premium scripted series.

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have shared their full list of dates for a tour of their native Australia, in support of their collaborative 2021 album ‘Carnage’.News of the tour first arrived back in February, when Cave wrote about returning to Australia at the end of 2022 in a Red Hand Files letter. Australian singer Nick Cave gave a surprise tribute to Love Island star Luca Bish and his family after receiving support from them following his son’s death.The 64 year old praised the Bish family in an open letter on his website The Red Hand Files, as he recalled them being there for him after his son Arthur, shared with his wife Susie, tragically died aged 15 in 2015. Arthur had fallen off a cliff near the Cave family’s home in Sussex after taking hallucinogenic drugs, plummeting 60ft to the ground, and was later pronounced dead at Royal Sussex hospital. Nick addressed his relationship with the Bish family as he responded to a fan who had asked what the differences were between himself and his wife.

 actress and blues singer Shonka Dukureh was found dead in her Nashville apartment Thursday, ET can confirm. She was 44.According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Dukureh, who played Big Mama Thornton in the Baz Luhrmann production, was found dead Thursday morning, in the bedroom of her apartment that she shared with her two young children.
