Boris Johnson has defended the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine during a visit to the pharmaceutical giant’s manufacturing plant in Macclesfield.

The Prime Minister urged people to get vaccinated as soon as they are invited and said staff at the Cheshire campus have played 'a massive part in saving huge numbers of lives across the planet'.
