The family of an army veteran dad-of-three who was found dead in a Manchester park have paid tribute.
Chris Smith, 46, was tragically discovered at Ashton Canal Park in Miles Platting at around 2.30pm on Saturday (July 10).
Police were initially called to the scene to a 'report of a concern for welfare'.
