The 41-year-old rapper admitted she had tough chats with her husband Maximillion Cooper as he tries to "understand" how she feels and asks questions to educate himself, following the murder of an unarmed black man, George Floyd.

Eve says that she and her husband, Maximillion Cooper, have been having “very uncomfortable” conversations about race ever since George Floyd was killed by the police on the 25th of May, and mass protests kicked off as a result. In a preview clip for next Tuesday’s episode of The Talk, Eve explained that she endured “some backlash” when she spoke about her personal life.
