Erin Andrews Reveals Newborn Son's Name, Details His Birth Story

Erin Andrews is opening up about motherhood!
Earlier this week, it was announced that the 45-year-old sportscaster and her husband Jarret Stoll had welcomed their first child together, via surrogate, after years of fertility struggles.
During an appearance on TODAY on Friday (July 14), Erin revealed her newborn son’s name, shared his birth story, and praised her “amazing” surrogate.

Erin and the 41-year-old former NHL player named their baby boy Mack.
“He came fast. My man was ready, so he’s got a good little head on him,” Erin recalled. “[Our surrogate] dilated really, really fast. And it was like, this is actually happening.”
She went on to say that she was so nervous about fainting and “causing a commotion” in the delivery that she at first decided to stand off to the side.
“I’m not going to lie, I get really queasy, and I’ve been known to pass out,” Erin admitted.
“The nurse said, ‘She wants to hold your hand,’” Erin recalled. “So I went and I grabbed her hand — and she had this tear coming out of her eye.”
“We’re so into sports in our family and we were cheering for her like she was our quarterback,” Erin continued. “She pushed once and he came out!”
She added, “I’m kissing [the surrogate’s] head, and Jarret is looking like he just won the Stanley Cup again…It’s the perfect picture of surrogacy….I just could not stop crying. (Mack) was our golden embryo. He was our last hope.”
Erin also thanked her “amazing” surrogate for giving her and Jarret their baby boy, adding, “Our whole journey with our surrogate and her family was incredible.”
Mack was born back on June 28, and Erin admitted that she’s still figuring out being a new mom.
