Indeed, that’s true for the comedy, drama, limited series and competition races, in which there will absolutely be a ton of snubs when the noms are announced on July 28.

The eight-episode series is currently airing on HOT and will stream worldwide later this year on Apple TV Plus.The series hails from creator Sigal Avin, who served as director in addition to writing.

As we’ve chronicled over the past few weeks, there are a lot of questions surrounding the Emmys in regards to the Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Drama Series nominations. Despite the news that there will be eight nominees in each category this year, there are still many deserving programs that will be snubbed.

Leave it to the Television Academy to make major rule changes just two weeks before voting for the 2020 Emmys is scheduled to begin. The big news out of the new guidance is that both the Original Comedy Series and Original Drama Series will have eight nominees each this year.
