Chas Dingle's affair with Al Chapman will be exposed on Emmerdale next week, as residents figure out her secret. Al is now dead and buried, but the secrets behind his final moments haunt the villagers, as Chas tries to ensure their affair stays secret following his passing.
However, the affair has slowly been coming out ever since Kerry's daughter Chloe found proof of Al's double life liaisons at the Yellow Albatross Hotel, reports the Mirror.
At first, Kerry didn't believe that her late partner would cheat on her but after Chloe showed her the hotel reciepts and proof Al had bought a secret house for his mistress. "The estate agent said Al bought the house because Al said the garden was perfect for his partner's kid," Chloe explained.
Meanwhile, Chas has grappled with the grief from losing Al while trying to keep their affair concealed from her husband Paddy. Spoilers for the ITV soap revealed Chas will be overcome with emotion after finding some of her late mum Faith’s old possessions.
During those tough moments Chas is supported by her rock Paddy, and realises how grateful she is for her family as she decorates the Christmas tree with Eve. In later scenes, a family dinner with Rhona and Marlon leaves Chas appreciating her family more than ever.
The married couple then spend a loved-up afternoon together, which leaves Chas now finally ready to put Al in the past and appreciate her family.
Things seem to be going from strength to strength when a besotted Paddy surprises Chas with a gift. After supporting her tirelessly during this time, Chas deals with the guilt of her affair and feels ashamed she nearly left him for another man.
However, things are taking a turn elsewhere in the village, as Chloe tells Belle that Al took
