Former Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has responded after being subject to 'horrible' messages since his split from Charley Webb. The former couple announced their split at the end of November after rumours about their marriage ending had been swirling in the weeks before.

We remain friends and our priority is the love for our children."
