Police have shutdown an Aberdeenshire road following a serious early morning crash.

M8 Westbound, near junction 31 at Westferry, around 5am on Sunday to reports of a one-vehicle collision. The road has been closed in both directions with a diversion in place.Emergency services are currently still in attendance dealing with the incident.
