Ellen Page on Her Environmental Doc's Timeliness During Coronavirus: "It's Profit Over People"

There seems to be a lot of debate about when our lives will, or should, go back to normal. Protesters are feeling like prisoners who are forced to stay inside their homes, while other seemingly more responsible Americans are voluntarily staying indoors to protect themselves and those they care about. I’m sure these types of conversations permeate most households, but here in my new abode, different debates are much more intense, at least to a 5-year-old.

Though the festival itself won’t be happening until October, Coachella attendees can still revel in the desert music on Friday — from the comfort of their couches. Coachella's promoter, Goldenvoice, announced in March that the annual Indio, California, festival was pushed back from two weekends in April to October because of the spread of the coronavirus.

As the home quarantine orders across the United States and around the world continues amid the coronavirus pandemic, the demand for entertainment is at an all-time high. So what better way to pass the time than by watching your favorite celebrities? But they aren't in movies or TV shows -- instead stars like John Krasinksi, Miley Cyrus and Florence Pugh have taken to social media to spread a little joy with DIY talk shows, interview series, and their cooking skills.

OK, this has to get better, and it needs to happen NOW. We’ve always liked Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, but ever since some very high profile surprise breakups they’ve become one of our last hopes for the concept of the OTP couple.

Ellen Page accused President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of “environmental racism” for their respective approaches to climate change. The “X-Men” and “Umbrella Academy” actress makes her directorial debut in the documentary “There’s Something in the Water,” which hits Netflix on Friday.
