The parents of Saffie-Rose Roussos - the youngest murdered in the Manchester Arena terror bombing - have opened up their hearts to help those who have lost loved ones. Andrew and Lisa Roussos have contributed to a new 85-page booklet designed as a bereavement resource compiled by London's Air Ambulance Charity.

You’ll recall in 2013, one of the most anticipated movies of what would have been the next year suddenly fell apart, much to the chagrin of cinephiles everywhere. The movie was the Western “Jane Got A Gun” that was supposed to be directed by the great Lynne Ramsay (“You Were Never Really Here,” “Morvern Callar”), and it was supposed to star Natalie Portman, Michael Fassbender, Joel Edgerton, and Jude Law.

The script originally centered on FBI agent Tom White, who DiCaprio was supposed to play, as he investigates a string of murders among the Osage Nation in the 1920s. That perspective kept the film in line with the majority of David Grann’s 2017 book of the same name, but something about telling “Flower Moon” from the FBI’s point of view did not sit right with DiCaprio or Scorsese.

Liam Neeson’s new action thriller Retribution has been described as in the running for “worst film of the year” by critics.Directed by Nimród Antal (Predators), the film follows financier Matt Turner (Neeson) who is threatened by a mysterious bomber while driving his son and daughter to school. Other cast members include Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell and Jack Champion.It’s the third remake of the 2015 Spanish film The Stranger, following German and Korean adaptations in 2018 and 2021 respectively.Retribution, which was released in the US on August 25, received a negative review on Rolling Stone, who described it as a “formula beaten into submission”.“Retribution is not the worst of his thrillers/action movies – that honour belongs to either last year’s god-awful Blacklight or this freezer-burned turkey – but it does suggest that Neeson may want to consider retiring from the everyman action-hero beat for good,” the review reads.

Olly Rix, who plays the character Matthew Aylward, has reportedly been axed from Call the Midwife, with his character set to be written out of upcoming storylines. Actor Olly, 36, is said to have been told of his character's abrupt departure just last week, with filming having already got underway. His co-stars are said to have been left "stunned and upset" at the exit, with the show's thirteenth series, which aired earlier this year, seeing Matthew tie the knot with midwife Trixie Franklin (Helen George).
