An elderly company director has been ordered to pay £750 in damages after his bulldog mauled a delivery man as they dropped off a parcel.
Javed Butt, 78, of Kersal Bank in Broughton, Salford, was charged with having a dangerous dog after his bulldog Lola broke away from her lead and attacked Stephen Wild, 64, as he walked up the driveway to the gated £750,000 property to deliver medication.

Kilmarnock which left a 37-year-old man with serious facial injuries. Between 6am and 7am on Friday morning, the man answered the door to four men at his home on Bonnyton Road.The thugs gained entry to the house and launched an attack on the victim before fleeing the scene.It is believed the vicious attack was targeted.
