People could get Covid-19 vaccine booster shots to protect them against new coronavirus variants as soon as September.
The government's vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said the first booster doses would go to the top four priority groups, which include everyone over 70, care home staff, NHS workers and the clinically extremely vulnerable.
The minister told the Telegraph that this would likely begin in September.
