Man arrested after 'disturbance' sparks huge police response in Edinburgh

 More than a dozen emergency service vehicles were called to North Junction Street in Leith at around 6.10pm on Friday. Specialist cops in riot gear and police dogs were also drafted in as shocked residents watched the drama unfolding.The surrounding area was cordoned off as officers dealt with the ongoing incident which concluded around three hours later.Police Scotland confirmed a 49-year-old man has now been arrested following a ‘disturbance’.
