The West End production of Cabaret featuring Eddie Redmayne leads the roster of 2022 Olivier Awards nominations today, with the musical revival scoring 11 nominations.

Yossman Eddie Redmayne, Jessie Buckley and “The Crown’s” Emma Corrin are among those nominated for the U.K.’s most prestigious theater awards, the Olivier Awards.Redmayne and Buckley were both nominated for best actor awards for “Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club” while Corrin was nominated for “Anna X” at Harold Pinter Theatre.

Art Brut will perform their debut album ‘Bang Bang Rock & Roll’ in full at a special show in London in the autumn.The band are set to play their 2005 record in its entirety at the capital’s Heaven venue on October 27. They’ll also treat fans to live airings of “assorted greatest hits” from across their career so far.“Shouty talky indie music is fashionable again,” frontman Eddie Argos wrote to announce the one-off UK gig.

Yossman Red Nose Day, the BBC’s annual televized fund-raising event, is set to return on March 18.Featuring comedy sketches and specials, live performances and a host of celebrity names, the live show will be broadcast from the broadcaster’s Manchester headquarters on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the U.K.Sir Lenny Henry will return to host the event alongside former Doctor Who David Tennant, “Walk the Line” judge Alesha Dixon, former “Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two” host Zoe Ball and comedian Paddy McGuinness.The show will include cameos from comedians Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Jack Whitehall, David Walliams and Matt Lucas as well as public figures such as Olympian Tom Daley and actor Rose Ayling Ellis.

Patti Smith will headline a new one-day festival in London.Higher Ground Festival will take place on the slopes of Alexandra Palace on July 24. It will be headlined by Smith, with Nadine Shah, Connie Constance, Spelling, Nabihah Iqbal and Joviale also confirmed to be performing.Higher Ground Festival will also host DJ sets, workshops, talks and readings.

London Grammar have announced details of a new London show as part of this year’s South Facing Festival.The band will perform at the Crystal Palace Bowl amphitheatre in Crystal Palace Park on July 29, with support coming from George Fitzgerald and Tora-I + Oklou (DJ set).The show is part of the open-air concert series which began last year, and will this year run from July 29 to August 21.Tickets for London Grammar’s show go on general sale at 11am on Monday (February 28) and can be purchased here.We're over the moon to welcome @londongrammar & @georgefitzmusic to South Facing 2022!Tickets go on sale Friday 25th February.
