Eddie Murphy & Tracee Ellis Ross Attend 'Candy Cane Lane' Premiere in L.A.

Eddie Redmayne, 41, has starred in some of the biggest films of recent years, having been active in the industry for more than two decades. He’s also featured in roles across stage and TV, and last year his role in a production of Cabaret led him to win the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Eddie is best-known on the big-screen for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, as well as Newt Scamander in the Fantastic Beasts series.

Emmy winners Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) and Christine Baranski (The Gilded Age) have been tapped to star in the upcoming second season of Hulu‘s Nine Perfect Strangers. Also set as series regulars in the new installment are Lucas Englander (Transatlantic) and musician King Princess in her acting debut.

BreAnna Bell Murray Bartlett, Annie Murphy, and “The Good Fight” alum Christine Baranski have signed on to star in Season 2 of Hulu‘s “Nine Perfect Strangers” as series regulars along with Dolly De Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, King Princess, Aras Aydin and Lucas Englander. Bartlett (“The Last of Us,” “The White Lotus”) is set to portray Brian; Murphy and Baranski will take on the roles of Imogen and Victoria, respectively. Variety previously reported on Bartlett being in talks to star in June.

It looks like heist movies will be the dominant genre in film the next couple of years. Deadline reports that Pete Davidson joins Eddie Murphy on “The Pickup,” a heist comedy for Amazon MGM.  Tim Story will direct the “SNL” alums on the project, and also produce through his The Story Company.
