Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill are marked to star in a new comedy film made for Netflix.According to Consequence, the as-yet-untitled feature is described as “an incisive examination of modern love and family dynamics and how clashing cultures, societal expectations, and generational differences shape and affect relationships”.Murphy and Hill will “find themselves on opposite sides of some of those divides” in the work that looks to target two generations simultaneously.Onboard to direct is Kenya

The New York Comedy Festival is paying tribute to beloved comedian Norm Macdonald following his passing today at age 61 after a nine-month private battle with cancer. Macdonald had appeared at the festival numerous times over the years and he was scheduled to perform for the fest’s in-person return in November. Having enjoyed a recent comeback on streaming platforms of late, comedian Eddie Murphy has landed another streaming project. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Murphy will star opposite fellow funnyman Jonah Hill (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “21 Jump Street,” “Superbad“) in an untitled family comedy that Kenya Barris will direct (“#BlackAF,” “Black-ish“) for Netflix.
Hill and Barris also collaborated on writing the script and will both produce the project as well.
