EastEnders star Matt Di Angelo has announced the happy news his wife Sophia is pregnant with twins.The actor shared the happy news as he posted a video of a gender reveal on his Instagram page. Matt, 34, said he and his wife Sophia "feel blessed" as they revealed they were expecting a boy and a girl. Actor Matt, who played Dean Wicks in the BBC soap, posted a video on his Instagram page showing him and Sophia holding confetti cannons as they stood in a sunny garden. Dad-to-be Matt then let off the first cannon to reveal they were having a baby boy as Sophia began screaming and jumping with joy.
Matt's pregnant wife Sophia then let off the second confetti cannon, which let out pink smoke to reveal they were also expecting a girl. The delighted parents-to-be then jumped up and down and held their arms up in the air and cheered. Matt the hugged his beloved pregnant wife and throws his empty cannon in the air as the pair celebrate their special family news.
As Matt posted the video on his Instagram page to share his exciting news with his 59.1k followers, he gushed over becoming a dad. He wrote in the caption: "'The lottery of life’, still a fair way to go but we feel VERY blessed." Matt then joked about the names of his unborn tots as he said: "The boys name will be JACK, and the girls will be POT." The couple were then flooded with messages of congratulations in the comments from his former EastEnders cast mates and fans. James Bye, who plays Martin Fowler on the soap, wrote: "Amazing news! Congratulations bud".
