Dwayne Johnson is speaking out about the devastating wildfires in Maui, Hawaii.
Last week, a wildfire tore through Maui, forcing people to evacuate their homes. NBC News has reported that the death toll has reached 96 as of Monday (August 14).
Dwayne took to social media on Sunday to share his thoughts on the situation.

“I’m completely heartbroken over this, and I know that all of you are too,” Dwayne said in a video shared to Instagram. “Everything that I’ve seen transpire over these past couple of days, everything that continues to transpire, hour-by-hour, minute-by-minute, it’s all heartbreaking.”
“Thank you guys around the world for all of your love and your support and your light, your prayers. Thank you for sending them to the islands of Hawaii, the people of Hawaii,” he continued.
He then encouraged his fans to donate to Hawaii by clicking a link to his website in his bio. “I have been speaking with organizations on the ground, we have boots on the ground, and I will continue to get as much information as possible. There’s so many needs,” he shared.
Dwayne, 51, noted in his caption that his faith in the people of Maui is “strong” and expressed his appreciation for first responders, health care teams and local businesses who have been offering aid to those affected by the fires.
