Dune: Part One was released in theaters in October 2021 and a sequel has been confirmed to be in the works.
It was always director Denis Villeneuve‘s plan to split the Frank Herbert novel into two parts and the second film will cover the remaining story from the book.
Dune: Part Two is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on October 20, 2023 and some new stars have already been added to the cast.
We also know that some of the original Dune stars are confirmed to return and some of them likely aren’t coming back for the sequel.
