A red Vauxhall Corsa is believed to have collided with a stationery cop car which was displaying blue lights at the time, north of the Sandyford Roundabout. The 23-year-old driver was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.The road was closed until 11.30pm.
