Residents were woken up in the early hours of the morning after a car smashed into a row of homes in Leigh.
According to resident who lives on Leigh Road, three garden walls were destroyed after they were smashed by a car that was heard speeding on the road.
The resident who lives on Leigh Road said they heard a loud bang when the crash happened and when they left their house they saw a trail of destruction which involved three front garden walls, a bus stop in the area and the car dumped at the scene.

According to the resident the occupants of the car were seen running away from the crash before police could arrive.
Police say no injuries were reported and enquiries are ongoing.
Speaking to the MEN, the resident said: "It crashed in to three houses. Three garden walls have been destroyed.
“I didn’t see the crash, but I came out and there was a guy phoning the police. I asked him if there was any body injured and he said that they had all ran away.
“The police van arrived and closed the road as there was glass everywhere. And a few minutes later another police car arrived and went to look for them.
"But by that time the driver would have had a good 10 minutes head start, so I'm not sure if they were apprehended.”
A spokesperson for GMP said: “We were called shortly after 1.10am to a report of a collision on Leigh Road, Leigh.
"No injuries were reported and enquiries are ongoing.”
