As you may have heard, Drake Bell was reported “missing and endangered” earlier this week, with police in Florida announcing he was last seen on Wednesday night in Daytona Beach near Mainland High School.
Interestingly, he’d been spotted by a fan at SeaWorld in Orlando with his son on Tuesday. An insider told TMZ, he was “nice and soft-spoken” and “seemed fine.” He went missing on Wednesday after he was last seen driving a 2022 gray BMW. Hours after authorities asked for help in finding the Drake & Josh alum, they reported he was safe and they were in contact. Great news and it’s especially good to hear once you know why his family was so concerned in the first place.

On Friday, TMZ obtained a copy of a 911 call made by someone in the Orlando Police Department. It’s a little unclear who they were speaking to as the audio is crackly, but TMZ reported it was someone in another department. The cop explains they have been trying to track down Drake and finally got permission to ping his cell phone, which resulted in a location. Drake’s family in California was deeply concerned for his well-being after he and his wife had “a falling out” and he allegedly expressed suicidal thoughts. The policeman can be heard describing the case as a “possible attempted suicide” before saying:
