Over the weekend, it was announced that Rihanna will be performing during the halftime show at Super Bowl LVII this coming February.
The 34-year-old artist took the headlining spot after turning down the offer first in 2020. Rihanna will hit the stage for the show, which will be sponsored by Apple this year.
Following the news, one of last year’s performers, Dr. Dre, is sharing some advice for her.

While in conversation with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1 on Sunday, Dr. Dre was excited about Rihanna performing at the sporting event.
“I just like her and what she does, and her get down, and how she approaches her artistry and the whole nine. It’s fantastic,” he shared. “She has the opportunity to really blow us away. I know we set the bar extremely high.”
When asked about advice he has for Rihanna ahead of the gig, Dre added that she should “put the right people around you, and have fun.”
“That’s basically what it is, making sure you have the right creative people around you,” he went on. “She might want to look into some of the people that we used to do our show.”
