Dr Alex marks two years since brother Llŷr's untimely death with emotional tribute

Dr Alex George has shared an emotional tribute to his brother Llŷr as he marked two years since his passing. The former Love Island star, 27, who recently left medicine, shared a photo of himself with his arm around his younger brother, who was 19 when he died, to his 2 million followers. Both Alex and Llŷr are smiling for the camera in the sweet snap with Alex wearing his A&E doctor’s outfit while Llŷr looks smart in grey trousers and a white shirt.The younger sibling of Dr Alex was about to train as a doctor, and tragically passed away in 2020 after suffering with mental health troubles.
Dr Alex accompanied the picture with an emotional tribute as he marked two years since Llŷr died. It read: “I can’t believe two years have passed.This is the last time I saw you, I wish this was all a nightmare and I’d wake up. Sometimes the reality, is worse than your nightmares.” He went on: “The worst days are waking up and forgetting for a moment, because then I have to remember all over again.
I hate those days. One day we will meet again, I hope. I love you Llŷr, my boy.” Followed by a blue heart emoji.
Fans rushed to the post to share their support for Alex.
